Jacobs Solutions 2018-2025
Technical Professional Services Firm

For the past seven years, I’ve worked as a graphic designer for Jacobs on the O’Hare 21 expansion and modernization program. Contributing to a multibillion-dollar airport initiative offered both unique challenges and invaluable experience within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. The range of design tasks—from quick-turn deliverables to large-scale visual communication—was demanding, but incredibly rewarding when brought to life. Collaborating with the diverse teams and individuals who make up the airport community broadened my perspective and significantly shaped my growth as a designer.

As a book lover, working for Triumph Books was a natural fit. Serving as a senior graphic designer provided the opportunity to work closely with authors and editors to bring their stories to life through collaborative and thoughtful visual design. My work included creating engaging book covers, interior layouts, and promotional materials that balanced strong aesthetics with clear communication. Being part of a publishing team required attention to detail and clear translation of ideas into visuals that resonated with readers.

A Chicago-based graphic designer with over 20 years of experience, I’m drawn to the ways design shapes how we understand information and move through the world. I enjoy experimenting, learning new techniques, and finding the best way to make an idea clear, useful, and visually engaging.

I draw inspiration from the world around me. Exploring my city with friends by bike fuels my appreciation for architecture, typography in the wild, and the energy of different neighborhoods. Music is a constant in my creative process, helping me evoke moods and spark new ideas. Playing and performing within the Chicago music community offers a sense of connection and creative renewal that compliments my work as a visual artist. Being an avid reader has taught me to pay attention to how stories unfold and how details build meaning. I bring that same mindset to design, where every element works together to guide the viewer through the experience.

Outside of work, you’ll find me cooking, trying out new restaurants, or heading outdoors for fresh air and exercise. Returning to nature gives me space to slow down, take in subtle moments, and reconnect with color, texture, and rhythm in a way that often finds its way back into my design process.

At the core of my work is a practical, collaborative approach. I enjoy partnering with clients and teams to understand their goals and translate them into clear, effective design. If you’re looking for thoughtful, reliable creative support, I’d love to connect.
